Admission procedure

For patients awaiting an elective admission please ensure that you are pre-admitted by Netcare at least 24 hours before your date of admission. There is a pre-admission kiosk in main reception of the Union Hospital and there is also an on-line facility available at the link below. Please ensure that you have received the procedure codes (ICD10 and CPT codes) from your doctor. It remains the patient's responsibility to obtain authorization from their respective medical aids.
